Obituary of Dermot Terence McHale

Dermot McHale, 46, of Woodside, NY passed away on Sunday February 11,2024. Dermot was born to Bernadette and Martin McHale on October 25, 1977. He went to St.Francis Prepatory high school where he played basketball and graduated in 1995. He went on to earn a degree in Psychology from Hunter College. One of his proudest accomplishments was running the nyc marathon in 2011 in under 4 hours. Dermot is survived by his mother, Bernadette, his brothers Eamon (Gina),Kieran, his sister Siobhan,nephews Devin,Breandan and his niece Ally. He is preceded in death by his father Martin and brother Sean. There is no visitation service but there will be a mass on Wednesday February 21st at 11am at St. Teresa’s Church in Woodside,NY. All are welcome to attend the mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, NY.
