Christopher J. Vagra, of Sunnyside, died suddenly on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at his residence in Sunnyside. Mr. Vagra was born December 28, 1961 in New York, NY. Beloved son of Sal and the late Beatrice M. (nee Sullivan) Vagra. Loving brother to Anne Marie Zanfardino and her husband John, James and his significant other Rosemary & Beatrice Vagra Gomez and her husband Luis. Cherished Uncle to Carissa Zanfardino, Alec, Kyle, Tara & Shane Vagra and Luiz & Gianna Gomez. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be Monday, September 4 from 2-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, after Mass.
