Mary Shekookian, age 86, of Sunnyside, died Thursday, June 22, 2017 at home in Sunnyside. Mary was born December 15, 1930 in Kessab, Syria. Beloved wife of the late Guiragos. Loving mother of Vic Shekookian, Sonia McConnell & Raffi Shekookian. Cherished grandmother of Arek & Colleen. Visitation will be Sunday, June 25 from 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 am on Monday, June 26, 2017 at St. Illuminator's Armenian Apostolic Church, 221 East 27th Street, New York, NY. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Flushing, at 1:15PM.
