John T. Bock, age 91, of Norwood, MA, died Friday, May 5, 2017 at Ellis Nursing Home. John was born September 22, 1925 in New York, NY. He was a longtime resident of Sunnyside and a member of Queens of Angels RCC. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Beloved husband of Lin. Loving father of Kenneth and his wife Audrey and Patricia Gould and her husband William. Cherished grandfather of Alison, Jonathan, Anne and Jacqueline and great-grandfather of Elizabeth and Jonathan. Dear brother of Theresa Wegele. Loving uncle of John, George, William, Andrew and Emil Wegele. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9 from 10:30AM-12PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held 12:30 pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Queen of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
