Obituary of Vincent Paul Russo, Jr

Vincent Paul Russo, Jr, age 87, of Sunnyside, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at home in Sunnyside. Bud was born January 3, 1930 in Washington, DC. He retired from the Department of Corrections. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Ivone). Loving father of David, Steven (Darlene), Douglas (Cathy), and the late Russell. Brother of Douglas (Sandra). Cherished grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, April 14 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Blessing will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, in Woodside, following the blessing.
