Blanca Medina, age 73, of Woodside, died Friday, August 26, 2016 at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Blanca was born May 1, 1943 in Huigra, Ecuador to Amable Merino and Elvira Hinojosa. She came to the US around 1965. Beloved wife of Abraham. Loving mother of Sidley, Marisol and Abraham. Cherished grandmother of Margaret Ashley. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 30 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village following the Mass.
