Obituary of Kathleen Leone-Nero
Kathleen Leone-Nero (O'Neill), a longtime resident of Long Island City, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Mt. Sinai Hospital of Queens. Mrs. Leone-Nero was born September 5, 1933 in New York City. Beloved wife of the late John J. Leone-Nero. Loving mother of Geraldine Julian and her husband Lucas, Frankie Leone, Patrick Leone-Nero and his wife Elizabeth, Rita Walsh and her husband Bob, Charles Nero and his wife Debbie, Thomas Nero, Julie McCormack and her husband Daniel, Mary Kendrick and her husband Lance and the late John Nero and Michael Leone-Nero. Also survived by seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Eileen Yeamans.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM and Thursday, March 24 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY with a Blessing on Wednesday at 4pm.
The funeral will be held 10am on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale at 11:30am.
