Charles "Popeye" A. Hermida, age 63, of Jackson Heights, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at NY Hospital of Queens in Flushing, NY. Charles was born July 16, 1952 in Long Island City, NY. He was a driver for Metro Tow Trucks and an avid motorcycle lover. Beloved Husband of Laura (Dotz) Hermida. Loving Father of Christina Hermida. Cherished Grandfather of Justin. Dear Brother of Angelle, Vincent, and Robert. Also survived by Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, October 3 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm.
