John McConnon on July 31, 2015. Native of Magheracloone, County Monaghan, Ireland. Beloved husband of the late Catherine McConnon. Loving father of James, Terence, Rose Topf, Veronica Calderon and Margaret Connaughton. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Queen Of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village following the Mass. Visitation will be Monday, August 3 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM and Tuesday, August 4 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to Queen of Angels Church would be appreciated.
