Eufimia Jackson, age 86, of Elmhurst, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Elmhurst Hospital. Eufimia was born April 15, 1928 in Bucharest, Romania. She came to NY in October of 1979. She was a wedding dress maker for many years. She is a member of the St. Mary's ROC and St. Nicholas ROC. Beloved mother of Yasmine Halil and Adriana Colea and her husband Ovidiu. Loving grandmother to Fatima Halil, Edward and Richard Colea. Cherished great grandmother to Ismail. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25 from 4-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer Service will be held at 5PM at the funeral home. The funeral will be held 10AM Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Flushing following the service.
