Dear Lisa, Michael and Bob: I loved Stella so much! She made my life possible by hiring me and moving me from Syracuse to NYC. She was a strong, confident professional who was a guiding force and a calming presence. She worked hard but made time for fun, family, and even failure! It was ok to make a mistake, just dust yourself off, laugh and move on! She introduced me to my husband and encouraged me in some many ways and in so many pursuits in my life, both at the Equitable and afterwards. Her work-family was my second-family when I first moved to New York. She was so strong in her fight with cancer, and that fight brought us closer together. It is okay that she is not fighting any longer, and I know she will be waiting in heaven for all us like she was every morning at the Equitable.
