Garrett was our friend. We met him through our friend Roberta, his wife. We shared some really good times together. Garrett was a very talented artist. We will never forget when he gave us the gift of his art for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We were also blessed by his and Roberta's presence at our celebration of our 25th at an Elvis chapel in Vegas. You should have seen Garrett smiling as we were all gathered around the Elvis impersonator singing, "Viva Las Vegas". Recently, we shared a meal together at my dad's house regarding my mom's passing and managed to have a good day. Today, we gather at the funeral parlor to mourn Garrett's death, but truly, Michael and I wish to celebrate the life of our friend, Garrett and cherish the times we shared with him and Roberta. May God Be With You Garrett. May He send His Angels to Guide You through your journey to God . May you find peace . May you watch over Roberta to bring her peace as well.
