Dear Uncle Lou....
Thank you for the many stories you shared with us over the years and the tender way you played with my daughter Deana on our many trips to your home. I always thought of you as the true meaning of the term Gentle Giant, a man who carried the qualities of strength and softness in equal doses. My arm still aches from the many squeezes you gave me whenever I mentioned the day you pinned undefeated wrestling champion Henry Wittenberg in the gym. They don't make them like you anymore and you will truly be missed. But being able to meet and dance once again with your bride, Aunt Mary, will make up for all our sorrows. I will see you again one day and once again we can reminisce about George Raft, Mayor LaGuardia and of course...Henry Wittenberg. Love, John
