Obituary of Alexandru Marandici

Alexandru Marandici, father, grandfather, and father-in-law, the last among our parents through God's grace and goodwill, departed from among us on Saturday March 22 2014 in Boca Raton Florida. He was born on February 4, 1928 in Zubresti Romania, resided in Sunnyside NY since 1979, and also lately in Boca Raton FL. He will be missed by Mircea Petre-son, Christine Anne and Michael Stephen-grandchildren, Maria Lucia-daughter-in-law, and by other family and dear friends. His wife Sorana Ruxanda preceded him into God's hands on July 19, 1984. We honor his memory, his love and devotion for the family, and his diligence in avoiding bringing harm and burden onto others. He carried his life challenges with dignity, stoically, he showed extraordinary competence and tenacity in his professional life on two continents, and brought into our house the wonderful gift of music. May God forgive his trespasses and rest his soul. Services details are listed below. Nascut la 4 Februarie 1928 in Zubresti Romania, a locuit in Sunnyside NY din 1979, si mai recent si in Boca Raton FL. Ii vor duce lipsa Mircea Petre-fiu, Christine Anne si Michael Stephen-nepoti, Maria Lucia-nora, impreuna cu alte rude si prieteni dragi. Sotia Sorana Ruxanda l-a precedat intru Domnul la 19 Iulie 1984. Ii cinstim memoria, devotamentul si dragostea pentru familie, si straduinta sa nu faca rau ori sa impovareze pe cei din jur. Si-a intampinat incercarile vietii cu demnitate si stoicism, a aratat competenta si tenacitate deosebita in viata profesionala pe doua continente, si ne-a adus darul minunat al muzicii in casa. Dumnezeu sa il ierte si sa il odihneasca.
