Obituary of Michael C. Healy

Michael C. Healy of Pittsboro, NC died on March 19th, 2014. He was originally from Sunnyside, NY. He served in the National Guard. He retired from IBM after 35 years. Loving son of the late Thomas J. and Ellen (Lena) Healy. He was the beloved husband of Katherine "Kitty" (Griffith). Father of Janet Celini and her husband Al of Newtown, Pa, Jeanne Yannacci and her husband Vincent of Marlboro, NJ, Jackie Mastropietro and her husband Paul of Mahopac, NY, Jennifer Zmarzlak and her husband Bob of Stamford, CT. Dear grandfather of 9 grandchildren. Brother of Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. Healy, Pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows RCC, Corona, NY and the late Maureen Murphy. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 23rd, 2014 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home Inc. in Sunnyside from the hours of 2PM-5PM & 7PM-9:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows RCC: 104-11 37th Ave, Corona, NY 11368, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
