When Joyce was still living at home with her parents, she would come and hang at my house, (I was kind of a surrogate mom, Lord, I was SO not a good role model!) I would bring her in and her dad was always cracking jokes…and would sit in his armchair watching tv with his pet parakeet perched on the rim of his glasses..it was the funniest sight. Oh, how he loved that bird….RIP Mr. McLoughlin. Your kids have turned out pretty damned good, and the world thanks you for it!
