Sri Kiron Roy, a devoted disciple of Sree Sree Thakur, spent his early years in Bangladesh, where he embraced Sree Sree Thakur’s teachings wholeheartedly. Seeking spiritual guidance, he visited the Deoghar Ashram and received blessings from Parampujyapad Sree Sree Borda, marking the beginning of a transformative journey to the United States. Despite facing immense struggles, Sri Kiron Roy dada never wavered in his commitment to the principles and ideology of Sree Sree Thakur. In New York, he founded Satsang gatherings, uniting devotees to live by Thakur’s teachings. He always thought of others before him. He loved and served all around him. He is the only individual in Satsang America who vowed and promised himself not to buy any home in New York before Sree Sree Thakur’s home. His lifelong dream of establishing a temple for Sree Sree Thakur in New York became a reality through his unwavering dedication and service, as a devotee and a member of Satsang America Committee. In his later years, though confined to his home due to health issues, his devotion remained steadfast. In spite of all odds he continued to focus on writing ideology of Sree Sree Thakur. He gave his whole time to translate Sree Sree Thakur’s “Punya Punthi” (The Holy Book) to English during his illness. Sri Kiron Roy Dada’s life is a true inspiration, and his legacy will be eternally cherished by Satsang America. May lord embrace his soul and rest him in peace.
