Obituary of Ann J. Smith

Ann J. Smith passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at Hebrew Home in Riverdale, NY in the presence of her family. Ann was a native of Gort, Co. Galway, Ireland. Predeceased by her loving husband James Smith. Beloved daughter of the late James and Kathleen Cummins. Loving sister to Catherine O'Connor, Josephine Gormally, John and his wife Mary, and the late Michael, Christopher, Bridget Purfield, Mary and Patrick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, May 23 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:45 am on Friday, May 24, 2024 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
