Obituary of Paul G. Planken

Paul Planken passed away on Oct 16,2023 at his house in Middle Village,Queens. He was born on April 30, 1965 in NYC. Paul was a humorous person who had a good word for everyone he met. Paul was an Iron Worker with Local 580 here in NYC. A big music and sports fan. Paul had a special place in his heart for his NY Rangers. The son of Arthur and Jane Planken (deceased), he was a devoted son, brother and uncle. The youngest of the 8 children, he is survived by his sisters, Diane, Lynne, Dawn,Tara and April, his brothers David and Gary, his brothers in law Dave, Bill,Terry and George, and sister in law Macarena. Paul is also surived by his nieces and nephews. His big heart and good humor, and his infectious smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be Thursday, November 2 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY.
