Obituary of Margaret Mahoney

Margaret "Peggy" Mahoney died September 12, 2023 at her home in Rochelle Park. Margaret was born October 31, 1963 in New York, NY. A devoted daughter, sister, mother and aunt, passed away surrounded by loved ones on September 12, 2023. Peggy was known for her strength and kindness. Peggy is survived by her loving daughter Dehlia Rittereiser (nee Mahoney), and son, James Rodriguez, as well as her brothers James, John and Edward Mahoney, and sisters, Patricia Seery Finneran and the late Anne Rothman, who were a source of strength in her life. She was the beloved Nana to Saoirse Rittereiser. Peggy also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Peggy's memory will forever inspire those who knew her. The family deeply appreciates the support during this difficult time. Margaret "Peggy" Mahoney will be remembered with love and fondness, her spirit living on in our hearts. Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, September 14 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:15 am on Friday, September 15, 2023 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY
