Obituary of Rina Yolanda Ramos

Rina Yolanda Ramos died August 6, 2023. Mrs. Ramos was born January 8th, 1940 in Honduras. Beloved wife of Pablo.. Loving mother of Rina, Sol and Erna. Adoring grandmother to Alina and Pablo. Dear Aunt to Sandra, Andrew and Emma. Our mother was a loving wife and an incredible grandmother. She was our matriarch and the glue to this family. She loved her family with all her heart and was dedicated to us all. She was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras to a loving family along with her 5 siblings. She married Pablo, the love of her life in 1964. Built a life raised a family and weathered many ups and downs with grace and strength. She graduated from NYU with a Masters degree and went on to work as an English Teacher and Social Worker. On her free time she would tutor children in our neighborhood who were new to this country. She strongly believed in helping others and working hard towards your goals. She loved to dance and sing and in the last year of her life became a fan of Bad Bunny and loved to dance to his music. She loved adventure and new experiences. She loved learning new things and could really do anything. Mom will always be loved, forever missed, and never forgotten. Rest In Peace. Visitation will be Friday, August 11 from 5-9Pm at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer Service will be held at 7PM.
