Obituary of Zeny Inocencia Braga

WEB OBIT WEB OBIT WEB OBIT Zeny Inocencia Braga passed away on January 17, 2023, in her apartment at Woodside, Queens, New York City from a ruptured cerebral berry aneurysm. She was 44 years old. Zeny was born on December 28, 1978, in Iloilo City. She was an achiever and was awarded with First Honors in her Chinese class from nursery to 6th grade at Sta. Maria Catholic School (now Ateneo de Iloilo). She finished high school and college Cum Laude at University of Iloilo with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication. She was a Columnist Writer and was a Student Body Governor during her college days. After graduation, she started her first job as a DJ at Hive Radio FM Station, as one of the Pioneers. Then, she transferred to Star FM by Florete Group. Zeny loved to sing and dance. She was a great performer, a talented choreographer, and an excellent make-up artist. She was a devoted member of CEBU Inc. and was one of the dancers of CEBU Inc.'s Tribu Cebuano, a group that performs Sinulog dances in parades, events, and churches in Northeast United States since 2012. She was one of the choreographers and leaders of all the group's performances. Zeny loved to dress up nicely for photoshoots and video shoots and was very sassy and stylish Fashionista. She was always the star of every event most especially the Halloween and Christmas parties. Zeny joined her parents, Rodolfo Braga and Dolores Salmorin Braga, with our Creator. She is survived by her seven siblings, Mary Anne, Joeme, Evaristo, Conchita, Zenda, Ma Dolores and Jomari and all her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces. She was well loved by everyone and will be deeply missed. Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, January 29 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Memorial Services will be held at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY 11102 on January 29, 2023, at 5PM.
