Loved watching Lou and Phyllis dance! He was such a smooth and fluid dancer and always a gentleman. Will miss seeing him at all the German dances.

Lou will be missed. He was my friend for over 50 years. I was his "best man" at his wedding.

Dear Lena,
My sincere condolences to you and your family. I worked with your Dad when he was a field representative at the Social Security District Office in Jamaica, NY. He was a great colleague who never failed to go above and beyond to get the job done. I would also see him from time to time at retirees luncheons and it was always a joy to hear about his many interesting travels. It was never dull being with Lou.

Dear Lena,
I will miss my friend, Louie, and our reminiscences about growing up in the same Yorkville neighborhood. I will miss his stories about his world travels and the many other discussions we had on a variety of topics. I will miss his smile and his laughter.

Dear Lena, I will miss my lifelong friend and all the times we shared and continued to enjoy in our later years. Whether we were taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting our teen years on 96th street and the fun times we had with all of our friends, bowling an endless number of games, hearing about your dad’s world travels, commiserating about the state of politics or just savoring a good dinner and a cocktail or two, I always enjoyed his company and looked forward to getting together with him. We always celebrated our mutual January birthdays but this year my birthday will not be the same. You have my sincere condolences.

Lena, my Deepest Sympathy to You and your Family. May great memories ease your pain.
Goodbye my Dear Colleague and Friend (jogging with you from 201 Varick to Stuyvesant HS and back, during a lunch break, was possible only thanks to your emotional support!). Rest in Peace, Lou

Lena…my sincere condolences to you and your family. I worked with your Dad in OWCP for many years. He and I had a lot of fun ribbing each other daily. I am so very sorry for your loss. May Lou Rest In Peace! ❤️
