Obituary of Annette Shields

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annette Shields, on 6/6/21, the mother to State Committee Member Laura Jean Hawkins and mother-in-law to The Honorable David M. Hawkins. A first generation American whose parents survived the Armenian Genocide, Annette was a lifelong New Yorker. She is survived by her husband Eugene, her daughter Laura Jean, her son-in-law David, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, June 11th, at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home (43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside NY 11104) from 4pm-8pm. Prayer Service will be held at 6PM.
