Obituary of Robert Elston

Robert Elston, age 74, died in his home on March 27, 2020 in Woodside, NY. Robert was born on January 25, 1946 in New York, NY to parents Wilbur and Madeline Elston. An army veteran, Robert spent many years working for the New York City Housing Authority. He was active, social, and enjoyed the company of family and friends. Robert often involved himself in extracurricular activities such as golfing and bowling. Robert was also a devoted father and grandfather spending much of his time in retirement with his family. His family and friends will always remember him as loyal, loving, and kind. Robert is survived by his daughter, Denise Halpern, son in law, Joshua Halpern, and grandchildren, Elijah and Eviana, all of Yorktown Heights, NY. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 8th, 2021, at the Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home at 43-07 Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside, Queens from 12-2 pm.
