Obituary of Joseph Vignola

Joseph Vignola, Sr., born March 16, 1930, left this world on March 9, 2020. Predeceased by his wife, Connie and survived by his sister, Lorraine Sanna, his children, Alfred, Lou Ann, Anthony and Joey Vignola, Jr., his grandchildren, Joseph and Freddie Schojan, Michael and Jason Vignola, Edward and Thomas Ryan, Emilie and Rebecca Vignola and Melissa Vignola. Great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter, many cousins, nieces and nephews, Beloved by all. Joe V. served in the U.S. Army, Private First Class, Second Infantry Division as a Machine Gunner in the Korean Conflict. He founded Al-Con Locksmith in New York City and mentored many young people in the trade passing his skills to his sons who continue in the business. Visitation will be Friday, March 13 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30PM. The funeral will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, March 14 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, in Kew Gardens at 11 am.
