Margaret E. Robinson (nee Gilroy), age 97, of Sunnyside, died Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Elmhurst Hospital. Margaret was born August 29, 1921 in New York, NY. Margaret was a retired school aide for PS 199 and IS 125. Beloved wife of the late George A. Robinson. Loving mother of Douglas Robinson and James Robinson and his wife Pamela. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Robinson and his wife Claire and Diane Robinson and her husband Gerrit Van Rooyen. Dear sister of Robert Gilroy and the late Richard Gilroy. Cousin to Louise Bodkin. Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Thursday, July 11 at 12:00 pm.
