Sol M. Ruiz, age 69, of Woodside, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Mary Manning Walsh of New York, NY. Sol was born October 28, 1949 in the Philippines. Beloved spouse of Aida Perlas. Loving sister of Rosemarie Kagahastian and her husband Byron, Gene Ruiz and his wife Betty, and Glenn Ruiz and his late wife Editha. Dear aunt to many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, June 27 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM and Friday, June 28 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Cremation will be in Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village following the Mass. Entombment of her ashes will take place at Calvary Cemetery on July 13, 2019.
