Charles Rogers, age 64, lifelong resident of Woodside, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of Annapolis, MD. Charles was born June 28, 1954 in New York, NY. Retired Administration Manager for MTA-TBTA. He was a Hall of Fame Recipient for CYO/ St Teresa for his many years of service and dedication to the youth of the community. Beloved son of the late Charles and Rosemary. Loving brother of Elaine Howerton and her husband John. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 25 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:15 am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla following the Mass.
