Martin "Buddy" J. Sexton, age 96, formerly of Jackson Heights, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Arbor Ridge Assisted Living Facility of Rhinebeck, NY. Martin was born September 2, 1921 in New York, NY. Retired supervisor for the United States Postal Office. Beloved husband of the late Sheila (nee O'Connor) native of Faha, Cloghane, Co. Kerry, Ireland. Loving father of John Sexton (retired FDNY), Frances Conway and her husband Frank, and Mary Ann Hamilton and her husband Bruce. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18 from 2-7PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at St. Joan of Arc RC Church, Jackson Heights, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
